Our Mission

Physna was founded on the principle that computers should be taught to accurately “think” in 3D – sorting and analyzing geometric objects like written code. We dream of a future where more people have the tools they need to design, manipulate, and analyze the parts and products that shape our world to create and drive innovation in product design, 3D printing, augmented and virtual reality, gaming, healthcare and beyond.

  • Paul Powers

    CEO and Co-Founder

    Paul founded Physna in 2015 with the vision of digitizing the physical world. Paul was the founder of Zoozler, a digital development agency. He was recognized by Forbes in 2019 in the 30 Under 30 and has presented on stage at TEDx, StartUp Grind, and Startup of the Year at SXSW.

  • Dennis DeMeyere

    CTO

    Dennis joined Physna from Google, where he was technical director in the office of the CTO for Google Cloud. He led Google’s G Suite product strategy, strategic planning, and commercial product management. He is also co-founder of the Foundation for Second Chances, a non-profit organization that helps maximize the potential for children in Los Angeles.

  • Mark Kvamme

    Board Member

    Kvamme is co-founder and partner at Drive Capital, a leading investment firm focused on funding innovative technology companies in the Midwest. Prior to establishing Drive Capital in 2012, he was a general partner at Sequoia Capital in Menlo Park, California, where he led investments in top technology companies including LinkedIn and MarkLogic.

  • Jason Warner

    Board Member

    Warner is the CTO of GitHub, where he leads the company’s product, engineering, security and support teams. Prior to joining GitHub, he was the VP of Engineering at Heroku.

  • Mike Wenger

    Board Member

    Wenger is currently the Global Sales Director at UserTesting, an on-demand human insight platform. He has over 25 years of executive sales experience at IBM, SAP, Oracle, PTC, and others.
